After more than 17 years of serving the Vaughan community, we’re doing something a little different this summer. Starting July 7, 2026, That’s Italian Ristorante will be closed every Monday throughout July and August so our team can spend some well-deserved time with family and loved ones.
We’re so grateful for every guest who has walked through our doors over the years— and this small change is a reflection of the values that have always driven us: family first.
Our Summer Hours — July & August 2026
Here’s what you need to know about our hours during the summer months:
Monday Closed — July 7 through August 25, 2026
Tuesday to Saturday 11:00am to 3:00pm / 4:00pm to 10:00pm
Sunday 4:00pm to 10:00pm
We’ll be back to our regular full-week hours starting September 2026 — refreshed, recharged, and ready to cook for you.
Important Vacation Alert
We also want to give you plenty of notice about an extended closure at the end of the summer:
That’s Italian will be closed Monday, August 31st and will reopen on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.
If you’re planning a corporate lunch, private event, or catering order during that window, please reach out to us in advance so we can make sure everything is taken care of before we close.

Our kitchen is still firing on all cylinders Tuesday through Sunday. Whether you’re joining us for a sit-down dinner, picking up takeout, or placing a corporate catering order for your office, we’re here for you.
Why We’re Doing This
That’s Italian has been a family business for over 50 years. The same values that go into every dish we serve — care, tradition, and love — are the values we want to pour into our families at home too.
Taking one day a week this summer is our way of honouring that. We believe a rested, happy team makes for a better experience for every guest who walks through our door.
